maybe I should update this thing.....

Sorry to all that my update of this blog has been stuttered and you have not had regular informs to read, i will explain this:

I was in Paris from the 6th-8th of january, as you can see from the photo, during which time i became quite ill and i returned home sick, only wanted to sleep and watch movies, so thats what i did, now this week i have had school again, but i have also been at home with Daniel because he is sick so its a been a recovery week.

Paris was amazing, well what i saw of it anyway, i was in bed for 2 of the 3 days we were there. The eiffel is huge, the louvre is beautiful and Paris was overall a fantastic city. I seem to have started counting down the days that i have until i leave for home, at the moment it is 11, this exchange has gone so fast and i cant believe it is almost over, it has been a fantastic experience and i couldnt have asked for better with my Host family and Daniels group of friends. I know ive said it before, but thank you to all those who helped me get here or gave me some money for spending while over here, it has been fully appreciated and i just want to thank you, and a special thank you to my mum, dad and nana who all helped me significantly in the means of getting here.

Im sure we will meet up in 2 weeks or so and i can tell you more about how fantastiy Europe has been for me and swap stories about our summer/winter times. But for now im getting ready to go clubbing, god bless german drinking ages haha.

Love you all a lot seeya soon

Love Hamish

bet you sad you miss parachute-people from ya church were fundraising and had photo in the ynui times. At least you are back for petone fair - we will have to hire you behind our stall again! I'm working hard making all different size shaped mirrors and decorating with shells. They look great and tash is onto a new craft too! Time for a change. We have been charging up our remote cars, jay subaru and my ford focus-Josh seems to play with them more than us lately! hope you all over the sickness-least you could rest up. enjoy ya last week or so, it will go fast and safe travels back with no major turbulance.

Hello Hamish
Congratulations on passing your NCEA level 2. I have just shown Nana the latest news/update/photos.
Nana said you look well and enjoying yourself. Enjoy your last week in Germany and safe trip on the planes home. I suppose now that you have experience overseas travel you will want to save up and see new places. Europe is a large place and so many things to do. Michaela enjoys the history and that is why she would like to go back one day she hopes. As usual your uncle Barry will be tracking your flights home regardless the time of night. So I will not be getting much sleep. Paul and Jeanette had a baby girl on Monday 19th her name is Jade. A week early but all is well with mother and baby. Jeanette ended up being helicoptered to Invercargill and will probably be there two more days, before returning to Queenstown. We are going down in the last week of February to see them all. Jade was born weighing at 3kg a good size. At the moment Michaela and I have a week off which we are enjoying as we have worked right through and it has been very stressful at Mega. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Lots of love Uncle Barry, Michaela and Nana
